Donors Circle

Les Veuves Clicquot ($5,000 and up)
Donations by Les Veuves are allotted for sponsorship of hall rentals, recording fees, PR fees and upcoming film projects, reps and grant writers' fees and are given with grâce, humor and a touch of noblesse oblige. Thank you --

Movians ($1,000 - $4,999)
Named for a most exquisite Slovenian wine, Movia, the Movian circle is comprised of movers and shakers. Movian money moves us forward, especially with traveling costs for out of town engagements, musicians' fees, web site design and maintenance. Thank you --

Châteauneuf-du-Pape ($500 - $999)
You needn't be a pope, French or even a former pope to join this lofty circle of donors. These donors' fees are directed to piano rentals and piano moving fees (when necessary), and setting up house concerts.

The Proseccoans (up to $500)
This champagne and the donors circle that bears its name is neither expensive nor déclassé and Proseccoan fruits are often enjoyed especially by musicians at any occasion. These moneys are allotted for pre- and post-concert receptions, in which we always serve satisfying wines and a savory buffet (usually served by our friend the brilliant web designer, renaissance woman and board member, Onomé Ekeh). Oh yes, these moneys also help with printing costs, computer costs, music purchases, piano tunings, page-turners' fees (yes, they get paid a fee, even when they miss repeats), the hemp paper that now encase the Vista Lirica CD's, costs of Taiyo Juden blank CD's, the print cartridges that run out of ink while printing CD's, grant proposals, and everything else that has to be done by tomorrow. Many thanks to --

MonaVie Circle:
help yourself, help Vista Lirica, help the Amazon Rain Forest
This circle has no monetary parameters and represents a growing concern for well-being and the environment: This is a drink that is delicious to the palate and is highly beneficial to your health. Açai, the main ingredient of MonaVie grows in the canopies of the Amazon; as these berries are exposed to the highest UV rays on the planet, they have also developed, through evolution, the highest anti-oxidant attributes of any food source on the planet. The MonaVie company has developed a freeze-dry technique (patent pending) of preserving nutrient richness of the açai berry during storage and transit. The MonaVie Company is the only açai product company that can legally make this claim.

Much scientific research has been done and is being done on the efficacy of this drink and MonaVie is coming out with the highest scores. MonaVie tests at 1,027/oz. on the ORAC (oxidation radical absorption capacity) scale, placing it at the pinnacle of the ORAC list; no. 2 on the list is wild black raspberries which tests at 425/oz. This is a scientifically observable fact and obviously there's quite a gap between no. 1 and no. 2!!

Regarding ecology, the MonaVie company works on the side of Amazon rain forest preservation -- the açai berries' natural habitat. The berries are farmed and cared for by local Native Amazonians who are well paid and cared for. These same palms are used to acquire hearts-of-palm, however, the acquisition of hearts-of-palm entails killing the entire tree; açai agriculture on the other hand entails saving the tree as its ongoing, renewable source.
