What’s underway for 2017 – 2018:

Concerts at Renée Weiler Hall, Greenwich House:  November 3, 2017 and April 20, 2018 – save the dates!

Farm to Table Music:  a collaboration between Vista Lirica, Glynwood Farms (Hudson Valley, NY) featuring chamber music and farmer chefs from the Hudson Valley; at venues in NYC and the Hudson Valley.  We will see what great ideas and actions can emanate from the alchemy of bringing together great music, great food, and like-minded people.

Eco-music:  Concerts at sites connected to the Oglala aquifers in Nebraska, one of the world’s largest natural water repositories, under threat by oil pipeline construction.   This is being organized with assistance from the Romero Institute.

Transfigured Night:   A fundraiser for Vista Lirica and Greenwich House, featuring Norm Lewis singing from the American Songbook, and chamber music of Schönberg, Bernstein and others – the wonderful mix of music from the of Hollywood’s Golden Age, Broadway and affiliated classical composers.

Recordings of repertory from past concerts and Neoromantic works including Steven Burke’s Quintet for clarinet and strings.  This new work will be a monumental addition to the chamber music repertory, dedicated to Vista Lirica and initiated by the composer.

DC Fundraiser, initiated by Board of Directors member Gloria Weissman.

We will also be presenting Weiler Hall concert programs a second time for the Greenwich House Settlement Community.
